Silly bird...

So I'm driving to campus, sipping my morning Slim-Fast when out of the corner of my eye to the left I see a bird flying really low, aiming for my general direction. One second later I hear then see said bird fly directly into the side of my truck, flop against the door and then fall to the ground. Slim-Fast shake nearly came out of my nose I was laughing so hard. I had to remind myself that this was not a cartoon-version of my life: a bird had actually flown smack into the side of my (not moving at the time) car. I looked back in my mirror and could see the little birdie still on the ground, trying to get up. I do not know what its fate was after the collision, but it was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I mean, come on! A bird should know that it's not supposed to fly that low or that big shiny gray masses are not penetrable. So, again, I say: Silly bird...
