Plato and Play-Doh

A couple of weeks ago, in one of my English classes, we discussed Plato's Allegory of the Cave.  I was saddened by how many students had never heard of Plato before.

This past week, in the online Art Appreciation course that I facilitate, we played with Play-Doh.  I am happy to report that all of the students were familiar with Play-Doh.

Good to know that our educational system is working.
