Headed to Tucson last weekend for sister Kim's MBA graduation from the Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona. We missed not having the Moore Family with us, but we had a fun weekend in the desert. Congratulations, Kim! Now we have 3 masters in the family!
(preparing a scrumptious family dinner - lemon chicken, pine nut couscous, steamed vegetable medley... and monkey bread! recipes from the barefoot contessa - "is the contessa still barefoot? can't she afford a pair of shoes by now?" - i thought this was a brilliant joke. no one else laughed.)
(on saturday morning we went on a 4.5 mile hike in the sabino canyon. we quickly learned that kim's definition of "flat" is slightly skewed. a few blisters, bruises, scrapes and sunburns, but the beautiful desert landscape made the whole adventure worth it.)
