A couple of weeks ago, Glenn Beck introduced a new special interest group on his show: The 9/12 Project. From the Web site:
"The 9/12 Project is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with Red States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect the values and principles of the greatest nation ever created."
This movement focuses not on partisan politics, but on 9 values and 12 principles that all Americans share in common. I think it's an amazing effort to unite people under a common cause and I encourage you all to explore the site for yourself.
